Launch an apartment pickup program in a controlled sequence

This guide is for an established dry cleaner that already serves, or has a relationship with, a managed apartment property. The goal is a clear resident entry point and a property-grouped operational handoff—not a new POS, route optimizer, or resident payment system.

Before you configure anything

  • Confirm the property contact and the physical handoff: concierge desk, common location, locker bank, or an approved doorstep procedure.
  • Write down the service day, timezone, resident cutoff, pickup method, access instructions, support contact, and the pickup choices this property will actually offer.
  • Choose the minimum resident information your operation needs, such as name, phone or email, unit, and pickup preference. Keep garment pricing and order creation in your existing operation.

The ordered launch process

  • 1. Create the property program with its address, branding, service schedule, cutoff, handoff method, and resident-facing instructions.
  • 2. Preview the phone-friendly resident page. Check the property name, support details, service dates, and access language before publishing.
  • 3. Publish the property-specific link and download its QR code. Do not reuse one property's code at another property.
  • 4. Prepare the resident message: what the service is, who operates it, the cutoff, where bags go, and how residents can manage or cancel a request.
  • 5. Place the link or QR code in the agreed property channels: lobby signage, resident email, resident portal, or property-management communication.
  • 6. Submit a test enrollment and pickup request yourself. Verify that the property, service date, cutoff, and handoff instructions are correct.
  • 7. On the agreed cadence, review valid requests grouped for that property and service date. Export the manifest or CSV for the existing operation.
  • 8. Confirm the cleaner's downstream handoff with the property contact, then keep the existing POS, garment processing, delivery, and resident-payment processes unchanged.

What is ready at the end

A published resident path, property-specific enrollment records, validated pickup requests, and a property-grouped manifest or CSV for the cleaner's next operational step.
